This series of virtual summer camps features hands-on and immersive activities exploring the work of police officers, crime scene investigators, forensic scientists and historians. Join campers from around the country for an interactive, live-instruction virtual camp atmosphere.
Each summer camp includes 20 hours of fun and educational activities. Each participant is sent an activity kit with the supplies needed for their camp experience.
Operation Investigation I
Recommended for students entering 4th-7th grade. Ages 10-12
June 14–18, 2021
Available in two sessions: 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. PDT
Learn how to investigate a crime and build a case by collecting evidence, examining fingerprints, finding trace evidence, analyzing blood spatter and interrogating witnesses.

Operation Forensic Science I
Recommended for students entering 8th-10th grade. Ages 13-15
June 21–25, 2021
Available in two sessions: 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. PDT
Learn all about the forensic science field with days focused on crime scene investigation, death investigation, fingerprint analysis, firearm and bullet examination and DNA analysis.

July 12–16, 2021

Sharpen your investigative skills with activities focused on collecting and examining various forms of evidence, investigating a death and understanding how law enforcement brings down criminals.

Hone the investigative craft through science-based activities focused on real historical crimes and modern forensic techniques.

Operation Discover History
Recommended for students entering 4th-7th grade. Ages 10-12
July 26–30, 2021
Available in two sessions: 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. PDT
Explore the fascinating history of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada! Discover who lived here, how they adapted to the desert before modern technologies, and what you can do to help preserve the city’s past. This new camp topic incorporates hands-on activities and creative writing aimed at appreciating and preserving the rich story of Las Vegas.
Registration Deadline: June 30, 2021
$150 per participant. $125 per participant for Museum Members. 15% discount automatically applied for multiple camps purchased. All campers will also be invited to join the program capstone event, Summer Camp Family Night, which takes place on the final day of camp each week on Friday at 5 p.m. PDT. During this activity, campers and their families participate in a camp-exclusive activity and trivia game. Each week, winners of Family Night will be awarded a family-four pack of tickets to visit The Mob Museum.
