The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is proud to announce the new charitable beneficiaries of its Giving Module program that the resort will partner with to start 2020. From January to March, guests of The Cosmopolitan will have the option to donate to HELP of Southern Nevada, Goodie Two Shoes, America Heart Association or Veterans Village when they redeem ticket vouchers on the casino floor.
The Cosmopolitan’s Giving Module is the first of its kind on the Las Vegas Strip. Since the program’s debut in July 2019, there have been more than 124,000 donation transactions through the program, equating to more than $26,000 in just over six months to non-profits in need in the Las Vegas valley including The Nevada Humane Society, Safe Nest, The Shade Tree, Opportunity Village, Three Square Food Bank, and many more. In further support of the selected charities, The Cosmopolitan matches up to $10,000 of all donations each quarter.
When guests generously choose to donate through the Module, the donation is then distributed to the selected charities. If guests choose not to donate, they will receive their slot earnings directly at the kiosk. In the past year, the average donation per individual was $0.21, with 12 percent of guests opting to donate.
The Cosmopolitan remains dedicated to serving the local community, as well as providing special care and focus to the veteran and active military community, diversity, learning and student enrichment.
Organizations interested in benefiting from The Cosmopolitan’s Giving Module program should reach out directly to GivingModuleProduct@everi.com to be considered for charitable donations.
