The Las Vegas Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), the nation’s premier mother-daughter volunteer organization, has announced its Annual Membership Drive and has begun accepting applications from women with daughters currently in 6th through 9th grade. The Las Vegas Chapter is comprised of nearly 300 members who reside in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Over the past year, the Chapter has approved The American Heart Association as a local Philanthropy Partner, enabling participation in the National Philanthropy Initiative – Little Hats, Big Hearts.
“We are excited for the opportunity to welcome new mothers and daughters into our Chapter as we continue to create life-long philanthropists who graciously serve the community,” said Amanda Covington, Las Vegas Chapter President.
Membership Drive Details:
• Timeline: Applications for membership are only accepted during the Annual Membership Drive from October 1 – January 15 each year.
• Eligibility: A prospective member shall reside within the Las Vegas or North Las Vegas Area and have a daughter currently in 6th through 9th grade).
• Prospective Member Meeting: Interested mothers are encouraged to attend one of the prospective member meetings. To receive an invitation, please email membershiplasvegas@nclonline.org your interest.
• Applications: Completed applications are due by January 15, 2020.
